Allsun Farm is a thriving 'garden farm' near Gundaroo in Southern NSW specializing in organically grown vegetables of a boggling variety, eggs and pastured meat. It is home to Joyce Wilkie and Michael Plane, two master market gardeners who also run the Gundaroo Tiller, a market garden tool supply company supplying small-scale farmers with quality tools.
Joyce and Michael are pioneers in their capacity and commitment to 'growing the growers' - helping inspire and train the next generation of market gardeners and farmers to create stable, diverse and organic foodsheds across Australia and beyond.
Getting there:
Gundaroo is located 3 hours drive south-west of Sydney and 30 minutes drive north of Canberra. You can navigate to Gundaroo via the below map. Directions to Allsun Farm (7 minutes drive from Gundaroo) will be sent to students after booking.
Accommodation in Gundaroo: Camping is available in the Gundaroo Park for a small fee. There is a toilet and shower block with hot water and barbeque facilities, with walking distance to three eateries and a general store. More info on the metropolis of Gundaroo here.
