Michael will share his years of knowledge and images of current, recent and past Earthship projects throughout the United States, Haiti, Canada, Spain, Belgium, France, India, Georgia and more throughout the presentation.

Earthship retrofit, taking traditional structures "off-grid," growing food and fishing for your dinner in Earthships will be covered, along with basic Earthship building techniques.

Please note that door price tickets will be $25, and only available if not sold-out prior. We'd recommend pre booking to ensure your place.

Tickets to this event are non-refundable, but are transferable. If transferring your ticket to a friend, make sure they have the name you booked with on-hand apon entry.

This event is priced at a fair share rate to make this knowledge available to the whole community, and is as affordable as we can make it (given Sunday venue surcharges etc). As such, we don't have any further discounts available on the pre-sale price.

The NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre is located at 37 Reservoir Street, Surry Hills near Central Station and right on the edge of Sydney’s CBD.

  • A short 3 minute walk from Central Railway Station (local, regional and interstate train, bus and light-rail terminal)
  • adjacent to a number of quality hotels
  • in the suburb rated as Sydney's no. 1 for eating out
  • walking distance from Chinatown
  • minutes from Oxford St, Hyde Park, museums and galleries
  • an 8km drive from Sydney Airport

You will find the Conference Centre is easily accessible by a variety of public transport options including train, bus and light rail.

However, if you choose to drive here, there are 3 parking stations within a 1 km radius from our venue .... a 10 minute walk!
